A towering figure in contemporary Japanese electronic music, he has carved out a unique space in techno by weaving hypnotic rhythms with deeply musical textures. Igarashi has proven time and again that he can move seamlessly between transcendence and chaos, pulling listeners deep into his sonic universe.

Wata Igarashi’s first full-length techno album, My Supernova, drops November 7 on dkmntl UFO — just one day before his set at our walls. The timing couldn’t be more perfect to celebrate this milestone.

“It’s cosmic, psychedelic, emotional, and immersive. Like a supernova, I wanted it to explode with energy and light, but also hold a fleeting, fragile beauty,” says Wata about the record.
